Can you transfer character data from Borderlands to Borderlands 2?
After nearly completing Borderlands, its sequel has recently come out. Will my endeavors be for naught, or will I be able to transfer data over to the second game?
all you get for having borderlands 1 save file on your account is a head skin and skin for the four new classes. (Maya, Slavador, Zero,and Axton) thats about it.
You can't transfer over your characters, or your stuff, which is lame. BUT you do get some nifty skins for your new characters to wear in-game if you have a save file from BL1. 1 skin per character.
Unfortunately, no. There is a benefit to having a save game on BL1 however. You unlock a new skin.
It's nothing too special but at least you get something.
Also, it helps that you played the first game because there are major plot twists you'll be able to relate to and I think you'll like that.
The characters are completely different. Not just in appearance, but in abilities too. Ex. Lilith had Phasewalk and Maya has Phaselock. Etc, etc.

It will be for the fun of the game not for nothing and u cant transfer data over they are 2 different games.
